ANGEL URANGA
Ángel Uranga was born in Zarautz, Coastal Village of the Basque Country (Spain) 1961. I claims the painting in itself, in process, open, in an almost pure state. Angel´s pintings has been featured in galleries such as NY, Miami, Toronto, Paris, Barcelona, Monaco or Hannover.
Ángel Uranga’s exclusive technique called “Incompatibility of Means” is aimed at demystifying and teaching painting, highlighting the final result but also highlighting the interest and importance of the creative process. The interaction of oil and water creates the illusory sensation of the volume of drops of water on the surface of the canvas. (1.994 Angel Uranga´s Doctoral Thesis)

La técnica experimental “Incompatibilidad de medios” creada por Uranga utiliza simultáneamente el óleo y el agua estimulando la sensación ilusoria de volumen de gotas de agua sobre el plano. Las texturas producidas se utilizan en obra referencial, abstracta o combinatoria de ambas según las diferentes etapas de la intención investigadora: Sobre volumen y espacio ilusorio, trayecto, proceso y en la actualidad sobre composición.Las obras representan una actitud de investigación respecto a la problemática de los lenguajes y los procesos creativos.
